    1. How do I get to the resort?

Click on the Local Links Bar for links to Mapquest.com and Outerbanksmaps.com.

    2. How far is the resort from the beach?

Sea Scape is located 2.5 blocks from the beach. Parking is permitted behind Wink's Grocery Store located just across the street from the beach. Please display you parking pass on the dashboard of your vehicle.

    3. What time is check- in/out?

Sea Scape has Saturday or Sunday units available for use. Check in is at 4 PM. Check out is at 10 AM.

    4. Can I switch my unit for another?

It is a matter of policy at Sea Scape not to move owners and/or guests to other units. The only exception to this policy would be if the units in question were unavailable.

    5. How do I sell my timeshare?

As an owner you have a couple of options should you decide you want to sell your timeshare. The Property Management Office will be happy to list your ad on the Owners bulletin board, simply forward the information to PO Box 1257 Kitty Hawk, NC 27949. Once the transaction is complete, the new owner should forward a copy of their deed to the management office for database updates. Remember this bulletin board is cleared in January so don't forget to resubmit your notice. There is a Real Estate agent located here on the Outer Banks who is very familiar with the resort and has had much success with sales. It is the Outer Banks Resort Rentals. They can be reached at 252-441-2134. Please contact the Property Management Office for additional information.

    6. Can I bring my pet?

With the exception of service animals, pets of any kind are not allowed at the resort. Please notify the office to make arrangements for service animals in advance.

    7. When does my week start?

The rule of thumb here is Week 1 is always the first Saturday in January. A current calendar can be located within the website for further information.

    8. What is a Right-to-Use?

If you are unable to use your time you may opt to allow friends or family the use instead. You must in writing, notify The Property Management Office of the name(s) of the person to occupy the unit. These guests do not receive your golf subsidy but do have use of all facilities located at the resort.

    9. How do I space bank my time?

Sea Scape has affiliations with 2 Exchange Companies, RCI and II. Owner Membership is a must for space banking. Please contact these companies for an overview of their programs and dues. The resort requires that maintenance fees be paid before any space banking will be approved. You can bank time up to 2 years in advance.

    10. What is in my unit?

For the most part each unit will have 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living/dining area and a full kitchen. We are happy to supply towels and linens for your stay. We will also provide a starter pack of toilet tissue, paper towels and bath soap (additional quantities will need to be purchased).

    11. Can you help with my luggage upon arrival/departure?

Sea Scape has limited staff but is happy to help with these needs. Please contact the resort prior to arrival to make arrangements.

    12. Am I able to receive messages in my unit?

Each unit has a direct dial telephone. It does not have an answering machine but please feel free to bring one with you should you need to receive messages. The office staff will only be able to deliver a message in a life-threatening emergency.

    13. Can I fax, photo copy or check my e-mail?

Yes you can. Please check with the Property Management Office for details and charges.

    14. What is my golf privilege?

Owners at Sea Scape receive a golf subsidy per unit per week of timeshare owned. This includes 8 rounds of golf at the Sea Scape Golf Links for your use while you are in residence. An owner is said to be in residence either via an internal exchange or upon check in of the week owned. Owners will be responsible to the golf course for their cart fees. Golf is an owner's privilege only and is not transferable.

    15. How do I make a tee time?

To make a tee time at Sea Scape Golf Links you may contact them by phone at 252-261-2158 or click on the link to the Golf course from the home page. At the time of you reservation you will be asked for a credit card to hold the tee time. Tee times may be made up to a year in advance.

    16. What happens if I need to cancel my tee time?  Will I still have my credit card charged?

The golf course reserves the right to charge your credit card if you cancel your tee time within 48 hours. Contact the golf course at 252-261-2158 for additional information.
